Attention all JV and Varsity girls basketball parents ...

We would like to invite you to the Winter Sports Awards Night on Thu March 19 at 6:30pm in the HS Auditorium. Please plan on attending with your daughter so we can commemorate a great season! 

Also, if you haven't already, please fill out the End of the Season Evaluation of the Girls Basketball Program - Thank you!!

A few details as we approach the end of the season:

• 2/20 - no practice JV/Var - Team Dinner 5pm in cafeteria
• 2/21 - JV home game 5:30, Var practice 3:30-5pm
• 2/22 - Varsity League Championship Game at Cousino 1pm
• 2/23 - attend MSU women's bball game 5pm start, leave CHS at 3pm 
• 2/24 - JV/Var attend MS game, no practice ... Opportunity time 6:30-7:30pm
• 2/25 - JV practice 3-4:30, Var practice 4-6
• 2/26 - JV practice 3-4:30, Var practice 7:30-9
• 2/27 - Senior Night - Last regular season game - JV at 5:30, Var at 7pm 
• 3/2 - Varsity game - District quarterfinal at Country Day at 6pm

District Semifinal game at Detroit Country Day - Wed March 4 - at 5:30 against Pontiac Notre Dame Prep

JV/Varsity game against Harbor Beach has been postponed until tomorrow night (2/28) - same time, same place

We have added a JV girls game at HOME on Friday 2/14 at 5pm against Ford HS. Sorry for the late notice!!

Changes to calendar due to added events in the HS gym:

• 2/11 - JV and Varsity will practice together in HS 3-4:45
• 2/12 - JV and Varsity will practice together in MS 3-4:45

JV practice on Monday 2/3 is 4:30-6 in the MS

There is a Unified basketball game at 4pm in HS gym so JV and Varsity practices have changed. 

Mon 2/3 - JV 3-4:30 in MS gym

Mon 2/3 - Varsity 5-7 in HS gym

Team dinner on 2/3 is rescheduled for 2/20

Stay tuned for practice times on 2/20 as we will work around the Unified Basketball game

JV practice: Wed 1/22 and Thu 1/23 - 1:30-2:30pm in HS

Varsity practice: Wed 1/22 4-5pm in MS and Thu 1/23 4-5pm in HS

Varsity practice is changed on Friday 1/3 to 3:30-5:30 in the Middle School ... JV practice will not change - still 6-7:30 in the High School on Friday 1/3

Attention - our new transportation company will pick up and drop off at the FRONT of the MIDDLE SCHOOL for all MS/HS Winter Sports teams, including Girls Basketball. 

Practice tomorrow - Friday 12/27 - will be:

• Varsity - 10am-11:30am
• JV - 10am-11am

Team Activity on Saturday 12/28 will be 12pm-2pm

• We will leave CHS at 11:30am and return between 2-2:30pm - Let your coach know if you plan to attend - details at practice tomorrow!

Team Dinner starts at 6pm today in lobby outside the cafe! 

• Thu - JV/Varsity game at Roseville - bus time 4:20
• Fri - First Responders Game at boys game - invite all First Responders you know to be recognized before 7pm Varsity tip-off
• Sat - 5pm OU women's basketball game - meet at CHS at 3:45pm 

Practice will begin today at 5:30pm - we will be done at 7pm

Monday 12/9 

• Team picture day at 3:45pm - JV/Var wear blue - Senior Banners will be ordered by CHS
• JV practice 6-7:30pm in HS
• Var practice 4:30-5:30 in MS
• 6-7:15pm - TLC/NHS Charity Dinner at BWWs in Troy
• 7:15pm - TLC/NHS Moon Beams at Beaumont

Girls Basketball Team Pictures are Monday Dec. 9 at 4pm in the high school gym. Picture forms were sent home with the girls last week - extra forms available in the Athletic Office.

Girls' Basketball Parent Meeting will be on Thursday Nov 14 at 6:30pm. We will meet in the gym. The meeting will be 30-45 minutes. If your daughter is planning to play basketball this year, please plan on attending.

Girls' Basketball tryouts will continue as scheduled today, Tue Nov 12:

• 3-5pm for JV tryouts  
• 4-6pm for Varsity tryouts

Road conditions are improving, so the district will allow us to practice today. If you can make it, GREAT!
