Clawson Varsity girls basketball team outlasted visiting Marine City with a 42-38 victory to start the 2021-22 season. A stifling defense and solid free throw shooting down the stretch solidified the win for the Trojans, Clawson was led by Senior Abbey Lodato's 18 points and 8 steals and Aliyah Vesper's 11 points and 3 assists. Charlie Verner went 5-for-7 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter to lead the Trojans down the stretch. Clawson travels to Troy Athens on Tuesday Dec 7.
